You land at José Martí airport in Havana, where a driver will take you to our stunning home in Old Havana, Elvira Mi Amor. From the moment you walk in the door of this restored 1920’s mansion, you're transported. Settle in to the luxury of the space, enjoy the tranquility of your room, and when you're ready, head to the rooftop terrace for a mojito and the stunning view of the entire city.
Meet our friend and guide Dariel for a walking tour of Old Havana and learn about the complicated, intriguing history of this city. We’ll have dinner together at a local paladar as you get your bearings in this vibrant, complex city. After dinner, wander through Old Havana and soak in the music and the mood. You’re starting to feel Havana.

You awake refreshed after a great sleep and head to the courtyard for coffee and breakfast prepared by the amazing team at Elvira Mi Amor. We’re stepping out of our comfort zone and into a salsa class this morning. No experience needed…our local dance teachers are amazing.
Lunch is on your own, and you’ll have the afternoon to explore Havana. You might wander around a museum, grab some handmade crafts at the artisan market, or hop in a classic car for a tour of the city. Feeling the pull of the sea? The beach is a quick taxi ride away. We’ll help you decide and get you to the right place.
Meet back at Elvira this evening to reconnect with Dariel. He’s going to help us understand modern Cuban history, from the 1959 Revolution to how Cubans live today. Tonight after dinner we’re going to test out those new dance moves at a salsa bar by the sea.
Meals Included: Breakfast + Dinner

Sleep in a bit. Breakfast is in the courtyard with a strong coffee to wake us up. After breakfast we’re heading for a cultural exchange at a local school, where we’ll get to know the kids and teachers and deliver our donations. We might do a little language exchange, play some soccer or join a celebration!
Now that you know your way around Havana, embrace your inner sense of adventure. You’ll have a few hours to explore on your own. Have a walk down the Paseo del Prado. Do some shopping, have a cocktail… Immerse yourself in the rhythms of the city.
Meet back at Elvira Mi Amor this evening for a cigar, rum, coffee and chocolate tasting with Dariel. He’ll teach us about how cigars are made, how to properly smoke them (the fancy way), and what to pair for a satisfying taste experience.
It’s our last night in Havana! Join me for dinner and drinks or venture out on your own. Soak it all in. You’re never going to be the same.
